Joining
How do I join Oroxia?
Oroxia is invite-only and for adults (18+). Someone who already uses Oroxia introduces you with a single-use link that lasts 14 days. Every member has one introduction to give; admins can gift a few more to trusted members.
I don’t know anyone on Oroxia.
Email support@avyqo.app and tell us a little about who you’d use it with. We can We can’t promise an invite, but we read every request.rsquo;t promise an invite.
Why does it ask for my email?
To confirm the address with a 6-digit code (it lasts 10 minutes) and to send security alerts or a username reminder. Email can never reset your password — only your recovery key can.
Your account
What is the recovery key?
A long code you save when you join (or later in Settings → Security). If you forget your password, choose Forgot your password?, enter your username and the recovery key, and set a new password. You keep your messages, wallet cards and budget, and your other sessions are signed out.
Without a recovery key, a forgotten password means your message history can’t be recovered by anyone — not even us. Save it somewhere safe.
I forgot my username.
Choose Forgot your username? on the sign-in screen. If you have a confirmed email, we send a reminder there.
Can I sign out other devices?
Yes: Settings → Security → Active sessions. Changing your password signs out your other sessions automatically.
How do I keep a copy or delete my account?
Use Settings → Export to keep your own copy. Delete my account in Settings removes your profile, sessions, keys, memberships, saved items and one-to-one conversations immediately; your messages in groups show as “Deleted account”.
Privacy & safety
Can people find me by searching?
No, not unless you choose to. By default only people you’re connected with can find you. In You → Privacy → Who can find me you can also allow your exact @username, or anyone by name.
How do I give someone a way to message me?
Create your contact link in You → Privacy and share it, or its QR code, like a phone number. It shows only your name and photo. Make a new one at any time and the old one stops working.
Are my messages encrypted?
Messages and attachments are encrypted in your browser before upload, with keys from your password. The design hasn’t had an independent security review yet, so we don’t call it end-to-end encrypted. The privacy notice and security policy say more.
Someone is bothering me.
Use Block — it’s enforced on the server. Use Report on a message, file, person or Circle and include evidence if you can: admins can’t read encrypted messages unless you share them in the report.
Plans & trips
Why am I asked to answer a plan again?
When the date, time, time zone or place changes, Oroxia asks everyone to answer again instead of carrying old answers forward. The plan shows what changed.
Are trip prices guaranteed?
No. Flight and hotel prices come from travel providers at the time they were checked. You book on the provider’s own site, where the price can differ. Details a provider doesn’t give — taxes, cancellation, baggage — show as “Not confirmed”.
What does “share my preference” do?
In Compare together you can tell the conversation which option you prefer. It’s never a booking. If an option’s price or details change, your preference is kept but marked “needs review”.
Payments & crypto
Does Oroxia send or hold money?
No. Oroxia never processes, holds, moves or signs anything. A payment request is a record with an optional link to a payment service or your own crypto receiving address.
Someone marked a payment as paid, but I haven’t received it.
“Marked paid” is what a member says — Oroxia can’t verify it. Check your own wallet or account and talk to them directly.
Which crypto networks can I use?
Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDC on Base, Solana, TRON, or any other network you name. Always check the network in your wallet before sending — funds sent on the wrong network can be lost. Oroxia will never ask for a seed phrase or private key.
Calls
A call won’t connect.
Oroxia relays calls through a TURN server when a direct connection isn’t possible, which helps on strict work and mobile networks. Check that your browser can use the microphone and camera, then try again. Calls are one-to-one.
How do I share my screen?
Use Share during a call on a computer browser. Phones can’t share their screen from a browser.
On-device AI
I can’t see catch-up summaries or translation.
These features use the AI model built into your browser and only appear where it’s available — recent desktop Chrome and Edge on capable computers. Settings → Private Intelligence shows what your browser can do. Oroxia never sends your messages to an AI service.
