Avyqo
Privacy notice
Last updated 6 October 2026
In short: this website and our free tools set no cookies and run no analytics or trackers. Split and Trip Watch keep your bills and trips in your browser, not on our servers. If you email us, we use your message only to reply.
Who this covers
This notice explains how Avyqo (“we”, “us”) handles information when you visit www.avyqo.app, use our free tools Split (split.avyqo.app), Trip Watch (trip.avyqo.app) and the status page (status.avyqo.app), or contact us by email. Our products, including Oroxia, have their own privacy information, which applies when you use them.
What we collect
- Website visits. Like any website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, so the site can be delivered and protected from abuse. We do not use this data to profile you.
- Email. The website has no forms. If you write to one of our addresses, we receive your email address, your message and anything you choose to include.
- Split. The names, amounts and payment details you enter stay in your browser and in the part of the link after the “#”, which browsers do not send to servers. A draft may be kept in your browser’s local storage. Anyone you share a link with can see what is in it. We never receive a bill.
- Trip Watch. Saved trips are kept in your browser’s local storage. When you search for a town or city that isn’t in the built-in list, the text you typed is sent to Open-Meteo’s place search to find it (no other details are sent). If you choose “Use my current location”, your location is used on your device to find nearby airports and is not sent to us or anyone else. Flight and stay buttons open the provider’s own website; what happens there is covered by that provider’s privacy policy.
- Status page. Our servers check our own services; the page collects nothing about you beyond normal hosting data.
We do not use cookies, advertising identifiers, analytics scripts, tracking pixels, embedded social media or third-party fonts on this website or our tools.
How we use it
- To operate, secure and troubleshoot the website (our legitimate interests).
- To reply to your enquiry and keep a record of the conversation (our legitimate interests, or steps before a contract at your request).
- To meet legal obligations where they apply.
We never sell your information or use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf: Vercel to host the website and tools, Open-Meteo for Trip Watch place search (only the text you search for), and Proton to host our email. These providers may process data outside the UK under their own data protection terms. Apart from them, we only disclose information to others where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Information in your browser stays there until you delete it (clearing site data removes it). Hosting logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider for security purposes. Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, and then deleted.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for a copy in a portable format. To make a request, email privacy@avyqo.app. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk (opens in a new tab).
Changes
If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top of this page.
