Oroxia · Conversations & calls

Less catching up.
More connection.

Chats, groups and Circles for the people you actually know — calm by design, private by default, and easy to come back to.

Chats & groups

Everything a chat
should do.

Reply to a message, react, edit, forward, run a poll, send a voice note or a file, and search your conversations. Messages and attachments are encrypted in your browser before they are uploaded.

  • Read receipts and presence you can switch off
  • Nobody can look you up unless you choose to — share your contact link instead
  • Block is enforced on the server, and anything can be reported
Circles

For the groups
you belong to.

A Circle is a small community — a club, a family, a house — with its own rooms, roles and events. Owners and moderators keep it tidy; members just turn up.

  • Rooms for different topics, announcements for what matters
  • Events everyone can see and answer
  • Moderation actions written to an audit log
Calls

Voice or video,
switch any time.

Start a one-to-one call and move between voice and video without hanging up. On a computer you can share your screen, and “Plans & trips” opens the conversation’s plans beside the call so you can decide together.

  • Voice ↔ video in one tap
  • Relays through a TURN server when a direct connection isn’t possible
  • Screen sharing from computer browsers
  • Plan together while you talk
Private Intelligence

AI help that stays
on your device.

Catch up on a busy chat with a short summary, translate a message, or tidy up a draft — using the AI model built into your browser. Oroxia never sends your messages to an AI service, and AI-assisted messages are labelled.

  • Catch-up summaries when five or more messages are waiting
  • Translation under the original, labelled with its language
  • Works in recent desktop Chrome and Edge on capable computers; otherwise it simply stays hidden
Considerate delivery

Messages that arrive
at a kind moment.

Write it now, send it later — this evening, tomorrow morning or any time in the next 30 days. Set quiet hours and notifications stay silent while friends can choose to deliver when you’re free. If you lose signal, the outbox sends your messages when you’re back.

  • Scheduled messages are encrypted just like the rest
  • Change the time, send now or cancel before it goes
  • Delivered exactly once, even if two servers try at the same moment

Good to know

Honest about encryption

Messages are encrypted in your browser with keys from your password. The design hasn’t had an independent review, so we don’t call it end-to-end encrypted.

Your recovery key

Forget your password and you can reset it with the recovery key you saved — keeping your messages, wallet and budget.

Calls today

Calls are one-to-one for now. Screen sharing works in computer browsers; phones can’t share their screen from a browser.
