AVYQO methodology

Product comparison starts with knowing what the product actually is.

AVYQO separates product knowledge from retailer claims. That distinction is the foundation of the platform.

01

Identify

AVYQO maintains canonical product identities separately from retailer listings. A phone model is one product even when ten retailers describe it differently.

02

Match

Retailer listings can be matched against canonical products using model names, brands, manufacturer identifiers, barcodes and human review.

03

Verify

Prices, stock and seller claims are published only when AVYQO has an appropriate data source. Missing data remains missing rather than being invented.

04

Compare

Once verified offers exist, shoppers can compare retailers against the same underlying product instead of searching isolated shop catalogues.

Two separate layers

LAYER / PRODUCT

Product identity

Name, model, brand, category, identifiers and reference metadata. This describes what an item is.

Example: PlayStation 3 exists as a product reference even if AVYQO currently has no live Zimbabwe retailer offer.

LAYER / OFFER

Retailer reality

Seller, branch, price, currency, stock status, product URL and observation time. This describes where and how it is being sold.

No source means no published offer.

Data integrity

What AVYQO will not do

×

Invent retailer prices to make comparison pages look populated.

×

Claim a product is available in Zimbabwe merely because the model exists.

×

Treat an unverified seller listing as authoritative product identity.

×

Hide the difference between reference data and commercial offer data.
